I've been in IT for more than 15 years. I started as an ordinary developer, and over this time I've worked in companies of various sizes and lines of business, from nonprofits to hardcore enterprises with government clients. I managed teams in the Amsterdam office of Booking.com, distributed teams at Shopify and Grafana. I also created and continue to develop the OpenMentor.io project.

My strongest areas are the growth and development of employees. I can talk about this for hours, from career levels and performance reviews to feedback and 1-on-1 meetings.

I also help people grow using coaching approaches. Through open questions and clarifications, together with the client we can look at the situation from the outside and dig down to the less obvious answers.

I don't use one-size-fits-all solutions, because each company and team needs something of its own. That's why it's important to discuss together what exactly you need, and here I have rich experience and expertise.
